After development roles at New Line Cinema and Nederlander Television, and serving as William Morris Agency's top story analyst, Steven started his screenwriting career by writing Lionsgate's THE CAT'S MEOW, starring Kirsten Dunst, directed by Peter Bogdanovich.  He has sold one-hour dramas to MTV and NBC/Universal and written for Disney, Paramount, and AMC's Emmy-winning series, THE LOT.  

He was a writer on Disney's AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS starring Jackie Chan and Steve Coogan, and wrote & produced A COUNTRY CHRISTMAS STORY, co-starring Dolly Parton, which broke a ratings record for Lifetime. 

Steven's directing debut, FOOTPRINTS, was hailed by the President of the NY Film Critics Circle as one of the year's Ten Best Films.  His second directorial effort, THE UNDYING starred Emmy nominees Anthony Carrigan (HBO'S Barry, Superman) and Robin Weigert (HBO's Deadwood) and Honorary Oscar recipient, Wes Studi.

Steven is developing his graphic novel series, STOKER & WELLS, for Television with Amasia Entertainment, 

founded by the former President of Marvel Studios.
