Best known for writing Lionsgate's THE CAT'S MEOW, starring Kirsten Dunst, directed by Peter Bogdanovich, Steven has sold one-hour dramas to MTV and NBC/Universal and written for Disney, Paramount, and AMC's Emmy-winning series, THE LOT. He wrote & produced A COUNTRY CHRISTMAS STORY, co-starring Dolly Parton, which broke a ratings record for Lifetime. His directing debut, FOOTPRINTS, was hailed by the President of the NY Film Critics Circle. His second directorial effort, THE UNDYING starred Emmy nominees Anthony Carrigan (HBO'S Barry) and Robin Weigert (HBO's Deadwood) and Honorary Oscar recipient, Wes Studi.
Steven is developing his debut graphic novel, STOKER & WELLS, for Television with former Marvel Studios President Michael Helfant's Amasia Entertainment
Steven's 2019 debut graphic novel, STOKER & WELLS: ORDER OF THE GOLDEN DAWN, the first in a trilogy, received unanimous positive reviews and is being developed as a TV series with Amasia.
He recently completed co-writing SHI: RETURN OF THE WARRIOR, and SHI: HAIKYO, relaunching Billy Tucci's iconic 1990's character, and is at work writing the third installment of SHI's powerful saga, SHI: SAKURA.
Steven has two plays published by Samuel French (now Concord Theatricals), KARLABOY, his debut stage play, which received a Drama-Logue Critics Award for Outstanding Achievement in Writing.
His second play, THE CAT'S MEOW, was adapted to film and has been performed in six countries on three continents. Steven is currently writing the book & lyrics for a stage musical adaptation.
